Well, I'm sitting in the lobby of a Holiday Inn in Laval, Quebec right now. Have a little work trip today and tomorrow. Basically here to watch someone spray out some tests samples tomorrow. Should be piece of cake. Surprisingly warm up here. My machine washed passport didn't seem to cause any troubles...lol. Anyway, just brought the iPad with me and no WiFi in the hotel room. Wired connection but WiFi only in the lobby. Weird...right?

Anyway, had some nachos in the sports bar and a Rickards Red beer....which seemed appropriate. But they need to rename it to Rico's Red! Lol!

Got some games and videos on the iPad with me and a real book too, so all is well. Probably won't post a lot tomorrow as I get back to Detroit like at midnight. Hold the fort down gang. :)

Have fun Rico.  Isn't the Ipad so cool?  Love it.

I have been and always will be, your friend.

Mischief time!!! ;) Have fun, shame you can't tour the city, Montreal is so beautiful. As are the ladies.  :ohbaby

Mischief time? Me?? I'm boring. Except when I do the Rico dance!

Most definitnely! (re: the ladies)

if you're at the Holiday Inn at autoroute 15 and Le Carrefour you're near one of the biggest malls in the area, Carrefour Laval. Might be something to check out over there. Aside from that Laval isn't the most happening place. Still, enjoy yourself!

If you can find a "La Belle Province" or a "Lafleur" go in and try a hot dog and a poutine!

That is weird about the hotel and the internet. Must have put a lot of money into wiring it up years ago and not wanting to reinvest with wireless routers. Or maybe it is just part of the evil plan to get you to the Lobby to buy more Beer and Nachos ;). Sounds like a laid back afternoon in the Hotel for you.

I think I have some Rickards Red in my fridge, next time some one is over and wants one, I will call it Rico Red in honor of you Rico :)

I take my iPAD with me when i travel for business but i also have my Mac book pro.... and i always throw  an ethernet cable in the bag just in case. Def strange no wi fi in the room.

I am right there but not much time to shop.  And what is a poutine?

Fries topped with gravy and cheese curds. It's incredible.

Really???

Well, I can eat and handle some crazy food at times, but I'm not sure about this Joe.  I guess I can try for the meal below for lunch later.

Trust me, it tastes much better then it looks :) Defintiely not health food though! If you were downtown I'd have better suggestions (Banquise or Frites Alors), but this is a Quebec tradition!

The only thing that's missing is a Mae West.  ;D
