Is Captain America not going to have a mask in this movie? it's really no big deal but has anybody heard about that. And it was cool seeing those shots from the movie.

Saw some extended scenes for the Avengers during the D23 Expo last weekend. AWESOME!!!!!! This movie is going to rock. Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey, Jr, Jeremy Renner, Scarlet Johansson and a BUNCH more were there. Unfortunately, couldn't take any photos or video :( But everything we saw...Cap is wearing his mask.

It's like you can smell the success of this movie from way back here.

I've been dying to see the footage that was screened at D23 about a week back.  Been scouring the Net for a trace of it.  (Al - how the heck did you get to see this?  You need to send an audio comment into the show about what you thought, etc.)

Anyway, there are some descriptions online of what scenes and things are shown in the footage.  Go to the link below for info on what was shown.

P.S.  Cap has never really been big on hiding his identity much.  So, I doubt his mask will be on all the time in the movie.

Rico,
Joyce and I are D23 members, which got us into the Expo each day an hour earlier than non-members. So, the day of the Walt Disney Studios panel, we got there nice and early, then waited in line for about 2 hours. Not bad really. Our seats were up in the balcony area, but still very awesome seats! I'll record an audio tonight and send it off to you! :)

Rico

Cool!  Love to hear what you thought of the footage they showed.

It's kept clean through a combination of science and magic. Something that's hard for us mortals to understand.

Another couple of images from filming...

You're killing me with these photos. I want to see the movie now (I know, I know, good things come to those who wait)! :)

I'm digging Cap's costume more and more. That's saying something as it's difficult looking away from Black Widow. :-D

Scarlett's scene in Iron Man 2 was far and away the best thing about that movie.  She was an ass kicking machine.

Definitely a high point, no doubt about it.
