That is cool you enjoyed the movie Rico. I agree it had a real nice feel to it, with all the open areas they filmed in.

[spoiler]I was like Will in that I was surprised that the Olivia Wilde character was an Alien. I probably on skimmed the previous posts as I usually like to stay spoiler free. Also the trailers I saw were not real long ones. So I guess I am lucky I missed getting spoiled on that part of the Movie.[/spoiler]

Got to see this movie last night with my son Andrew. It was good, but not as good as Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Just sayin' ;)

I do have to say that it didn't live up to the hype. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, just less than I expected.

Exactly! Oh, Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford give some great performances too. Loved Craig speaking in his way out west American accent.

Good film. Been waiting awhile for something different. I thought Harrison Ford did a great job in this.

I've noted in some scifi movies aliens come to Earth looking for water or our women. This time they came looking for Gold.

Don't know if they are thinking of a Sequel, but I think they can still revive
Olivia Wild's alien character.

How To Watch This Movie In 5 Simple Steps

1. Order a take-away pizza.
2. Pour a cold one of your choice, I personally had some good real ales.
3. Insert DVD.
4. Press play.
5. Switch off brain.

Some nice concepts, a good ensemble that works well together and doesn't outstay it's welcome. The effects on the aliens look a little hokey at times, but this is ignorable. Worth a watch.

Just saw this over the weekend...I know seriously behind the times. I thought Harrison Ford was great in this role. My eyes were riveted to Olivia Wilde - and I couldn't move them.
This was a fun action-filled romp. Most of the plot didn't make a lot of sense to me, but I still had fun watching.
