Looks like a little "Logan's Run" and a few other things tossed in for this film.  Coming in October.  Trailer looks cool.

wow.  Cool to see some of my favorite actors in it.  Big Bang Theory, White Collar, and so on.

I have been and always will be, your friend.

Looks good. Timberlake is actually a decent actor

davekill

That's four minutes I'll never get back.

QuadShot

Davekill, you don't think it looks even  a little interesting?

ori-STUDFARM

That looks cool.....

...only thing I didn't like was that it seems to be set in our time as regards the cars and buildings and clothes etc...Hopefully, it'll have a bit more by way of future tech.

Apart from the cash machines that scan your wrists that is!

Dangelus

Wow love the concept of this, very original.

Definately on my watch list!

WillEagle

That looks pretty good. No other movies that week that interest me so far. I'll like seeing J. Galiki (wrong spelling) from big bang too.

Got to agree he's a much better actor than he was a music "artist". I've enjoyed him in a couple of movies.

That's four minutes I'll never get back. - bad attempt at humor  :ohwell

Time is a great subject for a movie,
We spend all of our time racing the clock.

This movies premise of dealing in time is most interesting

The stop aging at 25 statement is reasonable too as a given because you don't live more than a year longer.

Sorry - when he said he is 105 years old - that lost the suspension of disbelief for me.

Still a fun action movie for sure - just not as meaty, but maybe a good Netflix rental

Rico

I don't think "Time" operates the same way it does in this movie as it does in reality.  I think the guy who is 105, has been sort of able to "cheat" time via whatever type of tech has been developed.  Whether you can believe in that I guess comes down to how they portray things.  I'm ok with Warp Drive, hobbits, transportation, lightsabers, etc. so I'm fine with a little time bending.  :)

Pretty heady stuff.

My first impression was this is a conventional world where time is a linear constent that is bought and sold limited to a normal lifespan

I had not considered their ability to bend it.

Guess I prefere just watching stuff blowup

Rico

I took it as being able to buy and sell years of life.  For example, if you are able to keep buying at least a year per year you live you wouldn't age.  At least that's my impression from the trailer.

QuadShot

Yeah, I agree with Rico's assessment. I think that the guy from White Collar had some sort of cheat code (like in video games!) and was able to jail break his timer. That's why those baddies are after him (led by Cillian Murphy!)

davekill

Yeah, that's a good assessment guys - and I think you nailed it.

The trailer really contrasts the doomed blue collar shlubs working for minimum time (wage) with the up-scale leisure time set.
