Anyone else watching "Haven" on Syfy?  It's based on Stephen King's "Colorado Kid."  I think it kinda got lost with WH13 and Eureka last summer - in fact, the first time I heard of it was in the press release when it was announced that all 3 would be back this summer.  :)  I went back and watched the first season, and the second season premiered this past Friday.  I'm enjoying it so far - I think it's a little darker than Eureka and WH13, in my opinion, and has a different flavor.

My wife and I have been watching since episode one and really enjoying it.

Is this new stuff?  I thought this show was canceled?

Huh...interesting.  Definitely got lost in the shuffle I'd say when something like that gets by even me!  :)

Same here. The Ads seem to crop up around everything I've watched on SyFy but they've never provoked me into giving it a look.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

In my opinion, Season 1 started out a little bit bland, but finished very strongly.  It's only 13 episodes long, so you can get through it relatively quickly.  Season 2, so far, has been very good.  It's a little different for Syfy, I think, because the cheese-factor isn't as high as some other shows, and it's not as techy, either.  I'm enjoying it.  I just wish it  wasn't all by itself on Friday night.

I tried to watch it, but I just hated it. I gave up part way through season 1. It's just not my kind of show I'd reckon.

I agree.  I wasn't sure I was going to keep with it based on the first half or first two thirds of season 1 but they really made it interesting with the way season 1 finished and season 2 has been excellent so far.

I was on a Syfy media conference call with Emily Rose who plays Audrey Parker last week.  She gave lots of detailed and thoughtful answers to the questions asked of her.  Lots of good stuff coming in the back half of this season too.
