QuadShot

We're going Sunday morn. But, I'm torn about the 3D...this wasn't filmed in 3D, right? So, will it be worth it at all?

Rico

Not filmed in 3D.  "The choice is yours, but choose,....wisely."

QuadShot

HA! I've never been known for making wise choices Rico...:) I just remember spending the extra $$ on Pirates 4 3D...was seriously disappointed. Are you seeing in it regular?

Do you need to ask?  Of course I'm going to regular.  As Scotty might say,....

"No Bloody 3-D, or 4-D, or 5-D!"  ;)

RickPeete

I am seeing it in IMAX because it is IMAX. The 3D aspect just comes with the deal...  I want the biggest screen possible!  ;D

2D for me, plus as Mark Kermode said when you have a dark film and 3D takes more light away how dark would it be lol. May as well just close your eyes.

Saying that though Chris has had a positive experience so thats a plus but for me I'm not shelling out extra £'s for 3D. It's dying on it's arse over here, the cinema staff said to My mate Mark that (in their multiplex) more people go to 2D because of such bad viewing.

Plus for me I get annoyed at having to wear glasses all the time let alone extra bins to put over them lol.

Back to the film.

I'm not going to get to see it until next week due to work and child care issues, I'm not worried about spoilers though due to reading all the books.

I'm seriously looking forward to the big old mega boxset when it comes out ( must be for Christmas) and this boxset will be the one that pushes me to blueray.

Yes, I won't get to see it until next weekend at the earliest because of children - the eldest needs to come with me. (2D all the way of course)

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.
