I know Kenny. I've read all of the books, watched all of the movies, and love every fiber of the story. It's going to be very sad to see it end, but I'm SO STOKED to see this final movie!!

As I long time reader of all the books, I can't wait. I was a little worried they wouldn't pull off the big Snape scene. But all the critics on rotten tomatoes are saying the scene is fantastic, and may be the best scene in all 8 movies. This is exciting.

I just bought my tickets for the family to go see the movie on Friday night -- IMAX 3D baby! I figured for the last movie, I will shoot for the Win!

I am SO looking forward to this movie! If I could've worked out the logistics with my work, I would have gone downtown Chicago to see the two movies shown back-to-back at AMC. Oh well...

I think we should have a HP conclave during the Skype call on the 17th! Oh man, is there going to be plenty to discuss! :phone

i've only read up to the middle of book 4 so i'm not so sure how the ending will be.

No if you want a decent seat you'd have to get in line early this morning.. I even heard folks camping out last night. And all the theaters with reserve seating sold out in a matter of minutes when the tickets went on sale. I did HP 7 part 1 and it was horrible as I was sitting in the fourth row from the front. I want to actually enjoy the final movie.. so I'm going Friday after work at 8:30pm.. got some decent reserved seats.

Sounds like a much better plan. Those midnight showings are nuts anyways. Lynn and I are going on Saturday. Going to have a little brunch out and then go see the movie. Really looking forward to it.
