He has a few new ones but he also sells used video games, movies, music, trading cards, beanie babies, and graphic novels. Some of the comics thought are marked at higher prices. He has boxes with $3 or $2 comics. I try to stay away from those boxes. Lots to look at.

I know its an older book but Carol gave me this a few weeks ago.

It's neat to see the history of TOS and how it almost never was

I loved that book and Movie Memories is even better!

Finished Star Trek - The Last Roundup. I give it an 8. Also read Green Lantern Emerald Knights. And reading Green Lantern Rebirth which has been awesome so far. The guy that runs the comic shop says anything from Geoff Johns is really good. He is right so far!! I got them both from the library. Its easier on the wallet that way!

Finished Green Lantern: Rebirth. Very good!! Looking foward to more Geoff Johns Green Lantern books. And as luck would have it I got about 4 more from the library! Also picked up Wonder Woman: Odyssey which starts the J. Michael Straczynski run. Lots of good fun reading coming my way.

My son bought me this for christmas and I finally read it.. "Night Of The Living Trekkies" by Kevin David Anderson and Sam Stall. I lol'd. It was actually a pretty fun book. As you can probably guess lots of star trek and star wars references... and zombies... whoot!.

Started re-reading "Heir to the Empire" by Timothy Zahn. It's been a while since I read it, loved it when I read it the first time, so I figured it would be fun to re-visit it.

I'm reading "Zero Day" by Mark Russinovich (http://www.amazon.com/Zero-Day-Novel-Mark-Russinovich/dp/031261246X). Mark Russinovich is the founder of SysInternals, a company which created very impressive low level windows tools. It was bought by Microsoft a few years ago, Mark is considered on of the preeminent experts on the inner workings of Windows.

The book is all about fictional catastrophic malware attacks and how dependent we've become on the internet and computer systems in general. It's fiction, but it definitely doesn't stray very far outside the realm of possibility. It makes the book VERY compelling. I'm not very far in yet but so far I highly recommend this book.

Finished Green Lantern No Fear and started Green Lantern Legacy: The Last Will and Testament of Hal Jordan. And I'm going to read some of the new comics I got this week. I finished a bio about Branch Rickey also. Very interesting book. Got it at the library and it had just come out.
Got another 10 comics from the Bargain Box as well. Took my nephew there with his birthday money and I was hoping he would grab some comics. But, no he grabbed some X-Box 360 games. Oh, well.
Here's a picture of the ones I got. I love the cover of the middle Captain America. A nice bright background with Cap comin' right atcha!

I got a Kindle for Fathers day...wow it's awesome. I have been burning it up.

Started reading through the old Star Trek Pocket Books.. Read The Entropy Effect.

Then started a new fantasy series. A Cavern of Black Ice by J.V. Jones. Got through the first book already and WOW!! It's pretty dang good! So far I give the series two thumbs up!

Started reading the Klingon Gambit, and after that is book two of the Sword of Shadows series, A Fortress of Grey Ice.

And of course....I am chomping at the bit for the July 12th release of A Dance With Dragons... I have been waiting soooooooo long for it... very excited!

The latest Fate of the Jedi book, "Conviction". This series started off terribly slow but has improved. This book is 50% great, 50% just ok.

I just heard Brock's review of this book on SWAN and he said exactly the same thing. Apparently the last 30 or 40 pages are awesome.
