New podcast Segment - Fan Focus!

I've got a new idea for a segment for the podcast. I want to do a short segment on the various fans of Trek, Star Wars, Sci-Fi, collectibles, etc. I want to try do a short Skype interview with a new fan each week where they get to tell the world about what they love about (insert subject), what got them into it in the first place, how active they are in the subject, etc. I guess these would be about 5 minutes long give or take. I think it's worthwhile to show the world a bit more of fans other than yours truly that love this type of subject. I'd most likely record these on Saturday to include on the Sunday shows. What do you all think of the idea? :phone

Yeah, put me down for Alien or Blade Runner or any and all Trek as I've seen them all multiple times. Or maybe a little prequel action? TPM, AOTC, ROTS? Anyone? Bueller?

That's a great idea Rico. I can't wait to hear what everyone has to say. I still need to get myself a headset and look into getting Skype...I feel like I'm missing out! :)

Looking for the first volunteer for this. Hoping to record something via Skype this coming Saturday (9/7) and include it on the podcast on Sunday. Should only take maybe 15 minutes or so of your time. Thinking sometime around noonish eastern time this Saturday - but that's very flexible. Can even do it in the evening if that's easier. Post here or shoot me an email or PM if you can do this.

Now that I have my logitech headset I can re-record it and send you a wav file if that is easier or of better quality than the voicemail...this is going to be fun I think!
