Those pics I think are all in the latest Entertainment Weekly magazine.  There's a cover story on the movie and coverage of other summer films too.

Yep.. you're correct Rico

Thought I'd mention it if anyone wants to pick up the magazine.  If you can find it in stores! ;)

Zara...have you read the books?

Hi Quad...

Yes I've read all the books and I've listened from the fourth one on. Jim Dale reads them. I know that Stephen Fry reads the British version or at least he read the first one. Jim Dale's English too so I don't really get that. Jim Dale is great though. He's in the Book of World Records for doing 150 different voices.

Got the movie this weekend on Blue-Ray. The extras are pretty good. Started watching it last night with the extras as you watch the movie. Can't wait for the second part. All I can say is that I hope that they do Snape's part justice. I'm afraid his whole story will be cut a bit though. They devote almost a whole chapter about his involvement. I'm glad that J.K. gives him closure in the book.

Zara,
I read them too and I agree, I'm really hoping that they get that part right. It would really bulldoze the whole thing if they don't. And I love Jim Dale's version of the audio books. He's awesome. In fact, he used to narrate the TV Series Pushing Daisies.

Zarabeth - be careful on revealing plot points out in the open on the forum.  Some people have not read the books and the movies are their way of learning what happens.  You can use the little spoiler button if you want to talk more about Snape or anything else.

No problem.  I think with Harry Potter since the books have been out for a time now, there is this impression everyone knows the whole story.  But some people just don't read the books and only know the movies.  But once this summer is over, all will be out there.

I've just finished re-acquainting myself with the content of the first six books. I'm pretty well embedded in the film versions now, to the point where some of the story differences between to two came as quite a revelation.

I'm almost tempted to read Deathly Hallows for a third time before July.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.
