I've always found the trick with trailers is to reveal enough of the movie to make it entice people to see it, but not so much you "spoil" the movie. These days they seem to show more and more in the trailers. I would agree there seem to be a few twists in that trailer that might have been better to hold out for the movie itself.

It came across to me as that too, but I'm betting that it was purposely tossed in there to get people to think a certain way.
