You know, it must be all the years I have spent over on the RPF, but I think it's so cool they are making a true to screen version of this helmet. This helmet was all banged up, scratched, asymmetrical, wonky to use a good Brit expression. It's almost fugly and it's two tones gunmetal grey and black, if you can believe it. But after watching all the threads trying to replicate the imperfections on the RPF and the fact that all the warts just makes this SCREAM ANH, I approve and if I ever wanted to spend the $ for a Vader collectible helmet, besides are real MPP flash lightsaber, this would be it. I do have rthe rubies full size one and that's enough but damn, this thing is cool.

That is cool they are making a version true to the Original prop and also a more Idealized one, will be interested to hear what people think of them. Sort of interesting as well that they were able to do a direct casting.

A few other things efx announced I thought was cool. The samples of the Original Star Trek material for the Uniforms is neat, will be interested to hear how much that will cost. The Original Tron helmet is cool as well, still waiting for them to announce the BSG helmet though.
