Live webcam one year anniversary this Sunday, Sept. 3rd!

I will be doing a web cam podcast this coming Sunday, September 3rd. This is to celebrate the one year anniversary of my "Treks in Sci-Fi" podcast. I didn't really think that I would still be doing this one year later. Now after 70 plus shows, I'm still at it and enjoying it even more. It will mainly be a regular podcast but I will have my web cam on while I record. So you'll be able to see all my flubs and mistakes. There will also be a chat room to interact with me during the show. I will also be doing live prize giveaways during the show. T-Shirts, action figures, etc. can be won by those in the chat room audience. So be back here this coming Sunday at 11am Eastern Time to see the fun!

P.S. I hope to see many forum members in the chat room. Log in on Sunday via the main page with your forum name so I will know who you are.

Sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun.. I'll do my best to be there. It's going to be tough getting up at 8am on a Sunday but will see what happens.

Keep in mind the show will last 1-2 hours give or take. So the web cam will be on from before 11 am eastern to about 1 pm eastern time.

P.S. I'd love to have some audio to play from you guys on the show this weekend. Maybe a little on what you have liked on the podcast over the last year. That would be great to play! :biggrin

Oh, one other thing. If you happen to have a web cam on your PC too, you'll be able to have the option of showing you face in the chat area. I am going to be using this Stickam program that I think allows for about 5 other video feeds as well.

Show will be running live during my setup starting around 10:30am give or take today (9/3). But I won't start officially recording the podcast until 11am Eastern time. Hope you all can make it then!

What a great time the live podcast was today! I highly recommend everyone attend the next live podcast, it's so cool interacting with Rico and the other listeners live, as the cast goes down. I even won a great prize, too, how can you beat that? Thanks for all you do, Rico, to make Treks in Scifi my favorite and the best podcast out there. Congrats on one year, and heres to looking forward to many years to come!

No problem. I think many couldn't be there due to the time and day. I think the next time I will do it either on a Friday or Saturday night.
