New comedy series coming in April on Fox.  Two reasons I'm posting about it.  Christian Slater is one of the stars and he's a big Trek fan (had a cameo in the sixth Trek movie).  And check out how he worked the original captain's chair into the show in this preview.

Is that Michael Resenbaum as well? Looks cool.

The Captain's Chair and someone with a Voltron or Transformers t-shirt on. Why wouldn't you watch?

Not to bad. Really liked the captain's chair! And the guy that dressed like Han Solo, is he the guy from the Police Academy movies??

Pyrovile

I'm time shifting it to the weekend.  Sounds like we're going to have some severe weather so I'll hunker down and watch TV.

Watched it last night on my TIVO.  Was pretty cool.  Christian Slater was born to play this role and there a lot of geek jokes.  I love how he explains how he got the captain's chair.  Even has Michael Rosenbaum (good old Lex) in the show.  Definitely will keep watching.

I'm really enjoying this series.  Fun show and it has a lot of geekiness to it each week.  I know Sheldor is watching, anyone else?

I've caught all the episodes and have enjoyed them. Didn't like that Oz hired that annoying guy!

Well, the series is "sort of" canceled, but might get a second shot still - read on:

Those slippery snakes on Fox's freshly canceled Breaking In just might elude termination after all.
Though Fox gave the midseason comedy — as well as Lie To Me, Human Target, The Chicago Code and Traffic Light — the hook earlier this week, TVLine sister site Deadline is hearing that the network is in talks with production studio Sony Pictures TV about ways to keep the workplace sitcom around come fall.
Were the Christian Slater-fronted series to dodge this latest bullet, it'd mark the second time it has cheated death, seeing as Fox originally passed on the pilot a year ago.
Fall Preview: TVLine's Guide to What's New
With its most recent outing, Breaking In brought in a few more viewers (totaling 7.65 million) but dipped a bit in the demo (to a 2.4). Its season finale is set to air next Wednesday.
No official decision on Breaking In's fate is expected until Fox holds its 2011 upfronts event on Monday.
