Hey Rico and Everyone on Treks in Sci-Fi!

I'm so honored and excited that you're doing a podcast about one of my all-time favorite TOS episodes. I really wanted to do my first audio comment but 1) I'm not up on my technology and 2) Being a Special Education teacher doesn't give me a whole lot of time. So I wanted to at least leave a message on the forums.

I can relate to the character of Zarabeth, especially her loneliness and her strong survival skills. She's a very strong female character on Star Trek. Yes she is scantily clad but she's had to really battle so much on her own. I know exactly what that is like. And for Spock to admit that he feels that same way to Zarabeth in the episode was really something and very touching. Of course Spock is reverting to his ancestors and has let down his guard but he's so open and honest with Zarabeth that even if they were to meet again in the present, she would probably still be the only one that he would drop his guard for.

I love the two books "Yesterday's Son" and "Time for Yesterday." I'm glad that they went back and put some closure to that whole story. Of course I have the two audio books on my Ipod. I'm really glad that Leonard Nimoy comes back to do the voice of Spock. Of course James Doohan does a wonderful job as the narrator and doing all the character voices.

Again, this is a wonderful episode and I'm really excited to hear the podcast on Sunday!

Congratulations again Rico on the new job and being back at home.

All the best to everyone!

Would love to get an audio comment from you for this one.  :)

How do I go about doing that? Do you still have that number that I can leave a voice mail message? When I listened to your earlier podcasts, I remember hearing people leaving messages to a voicemail number.

I almost always record on Sunday mornings, so before then.  No voicemail number right now, but if you can record any type of audio file with a phone or on your computer, just send it to:  treksf@gmail.com

You can always call my podcast voicemail and leave a message and I can email the file to Rico..

That would be great! That will work better for me. I'll leave a message on your voicemail and you can email that on to Rico. Thanks!

Sent my comment to Kenny last night. My first audio comment ever. Looking forward to the podcast on Sunday!

I am showing my age, but I can recall when this actress used to wear a t shirt that proclaimed 'I am not James Garner's wife' - which was a natural assumption based on a series of old Polaroid commercials.
