I watched it for the first time last night and really enjoyed.  Looking forward to next week's show.

Yeah that was a fun episode.. and I think the judges did a great job on picking their favorite (as it was mine as well) and their least favorite.  Goes to show you team work pays off.

Agreed.  I also think they made the right choice for elimination this week.

OMG.. yes.. was ready for him to go since episode one.. I as telling Harry if they didn't vote him off this time that the show as fixed and they wanted to keep him around for the drama.. glad I was wrong.

Like he didn't even want to be there.  Then why be on the show and take the opportunity away from someone who really wants it and would work like mad at it?  I know it sounds weird, but it's just disrespectful to your peers, and your partner on team challenges.

Thats my biggest issues with a lot of reality game shows.  There's far too often someone there who thought it would be all fun and games and doesn't really care, and tons of other people who would give a limb to be in that position.

That was an excuse for getting cut. The guy was a dick that couldn't accept when he was wrong. So he had to make being eliminated his idea too.

Only have seen the picture/model episode so far but it really drew the wife and I in. Cool show. We will try to catch the others.

Syfy's special effects competition series Face Off is getting a second season.

The network announced the renewal Wednesday, looking for a little lift for its first season finale, which airs tonight. "With strikingly intense personalities and creatively stunning challenges, Face Off has ignited viewers' imaginations, making it Syfy's best unscripted franchise launch ever," said Mark Stern, programming president at Syfy. "We look forward to another exciting season showcasing some of the best special effects make-up talent in the country."

Face Off has enjoyed steady ratings across seven episodes, averaging 1.4 million viewers when you add in DVR.

I know! Its so sad that the default state of every show these days is cancellation unless we are told otherwise. O for the good ol' days....

Great finale last night...I think all four did a great job
Sam's was the weakest of the bunch and I understand why she was let go first, I think Gage had the best with his industrial Hansel and Gretal... but as expected Conner won because I think overall he did the best on every challenge.. though he is 40 and has worked in the industry for over 20 years compared to some of his younger competitors. So I don't know if it was truly a fair fight.
But I'm looking forward to season 2

I don't think that's a spoiler as it aired many weeks ago.. but yeah those are Vasquez Rocks.. that's in the town I live in.. only 2 miles away from me. I get to see it every day driving to and from work.. it's pretty cool.

I didn't think that it's odd for it to be renewed. Reality cost more than scripted. that 100k prize money wouldn't cover the principle actors on a scripted series for one episode. I'm happy that they are renewed, but I can't help but think that cheep reality tv cost is the driving force behind scripted cancellations. It's not the fault of reality tv, but it's easier to turn a profit from it than big budget television.
