Inner Light is also one of my favorites.  Judging by past podcasts it doesn't surprise me that it may be one of yours also Rico.  VERY character driven, great writing, good story, not too much on the Enterprise at all.  It actually surprised me with how good it was.

While I like a fun action episode sometimes, to me the best stories involve strong stories involving the characters and how they are impacted by what happens.  That's why I find so many of the original episodes classics because almost every show was like that, to some degree.  That was carried on in the later various series as well.  I just know the originals so well it comes natural to talk about those.
