Movie is out today.  Anyone going this weekend?  I might try and catch it tomorrow.

Nope, getting terrible reviews.  One starred by Roger Ebert.

I saw the 3D trailer for this in front of TRON 3D and wasn't too excited by it and the 3D was kind of crappy, so it seemed a no story, no visuals, dumb action flick to me. Maybe if people start seeing it and say it has the same kind of humor as Ironman I would reconsider but only a Netflix rental.

WAIT a second - did Bryan just say "the 3D was kind of crappy??!!"

Yeah! I mentioned that in my review of TRON. The previews for Green Hornet and Thor had crappy looking 3D, looks like an upconvert, which I have never liked. I like native filmed 3D only. Pirtaes 4 looked ok and Cars 2 looked terrific in 3D. And I found the TRON 3D fine, neither a plus or a minus. :)

But, 3D makes everything better!  It makes babies laugh, rainbows brighter, puppies cuter, oh, and greedy, gimmick driven movie studios richer!  :)

Ok, finally saw this (not in 3D).  The movie is a bit mixed for me.  It actually starts out pretty serious and has some good moments during the entire film, but I felt there was a bit too much comedy for what was going on in the movie.  If you have seen the previews you know what I mean.  The movie does have a lot of fun moments and cool gadgets but it ends up being just kind of average to me.  Anyway, for most people this is probably a DVD rental type of film.
