"Order & Chaos" - WOW for the iPad

Heard about this MMO game the other day on "The Instance" podcast.  It's an MMORPG for your iPad, iPhone, etc.  Made by Gameloft and it looks very World of Warcraft like.  Maybe it's a good thing I don't have an iPad yet to play this on.  Looks like fun.   :knight :orc

Ignoring that Gameloft is under Ubisoft who I have a lot of issues with their overzealous DRM policies....
I feel like Gamelofts are nothing but PC/Console ports over to the iOS systems that come out buggy and expensive.  That's just one of many gripes.

Never been into mmo games but it would be nice to okay some sort of online multiplayer realtime game on the iPad.

I've got a lot of research to do.

While this is a total ripoff everything I've heard about it is that it's fun. I actually have two buddies who got their starts at Gameloft.

A wise man once said, "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery."  And if you are going to "rip off" something, why not rip off the best?  Believe it or not, WOW took many things from the original EQ MMO game (which I played for years).  Anyway, I'll definitely be giving this a try once I snag an iPad.  :)

I'm still not going to lift my ban on Gameloft/Ubisoft games.  Until they apologize for their overzealous DRM policies, (which is never) I'll spend my $$ elsewhere.  This is just my personal conviction, I believe that the current implementation of DRM is wrong.

Playing it a little now, it's pretty fun!  And super cheap when it comes to MMO's.  Runs like butter on my iPad 2 so far.

Pretty fun game so far.  Runs really well on the iPad.  A bit tricky after years of playing WOW and other MMO's to get used to moving, fighting and so on with just touch, but it comes pretty easily.  Anyway, I'm enjoying it so far.
