They probably won't do it stating incompatibility which would be a lie as the hackers have it working on 4's, 3GS iPod touches and iPad 2 already.

It might not be the be all and end all but it is a nice feature to encourage people to upgrade.

If Siri can understand your words, dictate a text, etc. there is no reason I can think of that it couldn't launch apps and things.  I think I would find it the most convenient when driving and telling Siri to open some type of maps app or play certain music or call someone, etc.  Basically doing things when my hands are tied up.

Skeptical about that. I think a fall release fits into their upgrade cycle better. Also the phone is rumored to have a new form factor. Foxcomm is likely gearing up production of the phone in june in anticiaption of a fall release, that would make sense.

Going to agree with Bryan on this one, June seems way too early if they are going to do a new form factor.  Hopefully this time, Apple gives a phone with a better battery, not a worse one that the 4S has....

I'd welcome a new look...the thing I like least about the 4 and 4s is the boxy look to the casing.  I much prefer the rounded edges and curved back of my 3GS.  I am eligible for an upgrade now, and as much as the 4s is tempting me I think I'm waiting for the next iteration

It's possible, maybe even probable but I wouldn't see this as an indicator either way. Knowing how Apple are with the names of things and their rights to the names o things I suspect this is simply 'preventative action' rather than a sign of anything definite.
