This is one of the most awesome computer builds I have ever seen.  Completely custom PC, desk setup, water cooled, etc...  I'm drooling here!   :jawdrop

P.S.  Now, off to plan my own masterpiece.

Couple sample pics below and tons more and complete info on this in the link here:

O_O That must have been expensive.  Very cool though!

It is cool, water cooled ;)

Really cool pictures. I really like the Hobby aspect that some people put into computers still, reminds me a bit of the 90's when computers were real enthusiast ventures.

Still a pretty big, enthusiast following for building your own, custom PC.  I've built all my own machines - still do.  This computer/desk project has got me thinking now too.  What if I did something like the above, but made it Trek-oriented?  Like with LCARS displays, etc.  Now - that would be cool!

I have built all the PC's I have used for quite a few years as well. I did cheat a bit on my last PC as it was shuttle, so the mother board came mounted, but I had to install the rest. I remember back in the late 80's and 90's how fun it used to be to go to the local computer stores and check out the new hardware. My friends and I used to go every Friday after work to check out the local computer shops, checking out the games and new hardware, miss those days a bit.

I think you should do a Star Trek themed computer, I think it would be a really cool project. Go for it, or proclaim like Barney Stinson "Challenge Accepted, I will build a Star Trek Themed computer"

sounds like fun! however, if a part brakes you'll be on your own as far as fixing it (then again, i guess that wouldn't be much of a problem saying that you'd know what parts to replace)
