"True Blood" - HBO vamps

I am still working my way through season one, but I do really like it.

Anyone watch the season 5 finale yet?  I liked most of it, but still have a few thoughts... (spoilers ahead)

[spoiler]I'm very happy Eric killed Russell E. finally.  I've grown to like Eric more and more.  He has a kind of black & white attitude I like.  I'm happy he got his revenge on Edgington.  Most of the episode tied up quite a few things, but the cliffhanger ending was kind of lame.  I wanted to see Bill & Eric go at it - maybe we will in season six.  Bill has certainly fallen from grace now.  He has to die in the new season I think.  Overall it wasn't the best of seasons, but it definitely had some fun moments.[/spoiler]

If I get caught up on season 5 I might watch this along with my wife this season...but I'm not 100% motivated to do this ATM.  I lost my love for this series sometime around the end of S03 or early s04.  I remember 4 feeling like a chore to watch.  Becky still loves it though,

It's had some ups and downs but I still find the show a lot of fun to watch.  Love the setting and feel of the series set down south with all this supernatural stuff going on.  Season 5 had some good stuff in it too.  Big final episode last season that left some big stuff open to deal with in season six too.

I have only watched part of season 1 of this show.  This summer the wife and kids are going to the old country for 5-weeks - so I will be a bachelor for those weeks.  I will catch up on this show then in a few weeks of double-header episodes each night.  :)

Bringing this thread back for the final season of "True Blood" coming in a couple of weeks.  I've really enjoyed this series a lot - my favorite of the vampire tv & movies over the last several years.  And this last season looks to be really great!
