Ubisoft cuts back on DRM

This pretty much proved my point in the other thread.  Even Ubisoft is starting to admit that its DRM policy is too harsh....well, maybe anyway.  Oh sure, they didn't actually say that it is, but this recent change to their DRM is them all but saying it.  Its not enough for me to go back yet, as it still requires too many online checks and if your not online, then it fails to start the game, but it is a start.

Of course, its not conclusive just how much or little is required by the DRM now, but it seems you no longer need a constant connection to Ubisoft at this point to play their games.  Of course it may just be a bug.
