Seems like they walk a mighty fine line.  I'm thinking of the both the red shirt Trek one I got and the Doctor Who/Stargate mashup they did.  Both clearly represent the various properties but I guess they were ok with them.  The only reason I kind of bring it up is I'm still kind of bugged Cafe Press wouldn't let me use them for my TSF t-shirts with the "Spock" artwork on them.  I guess it has to be something much more obvious to get a red flag.

Yeah it seems to be a very fine line as I was under the impression of copyright infringement was anything that was a reproduction of a copyrighted item.. the majority of these tees put a twist on the subject.. I mean you know what it is but it's slightly different.. or different enough to not infringe on their copyright.

But with that said.. The Dalek one looks just like a Dalek to me..

You know what we need on these boards? A lawyer. I mean we have scientists, financial analysts, people in the entertainment industry, tech people, tradespeople, students...

No lawyers (no MD's either I believe). It'd be interesting to get a legal angle on some questions.

That's the last thing we need! I'd take a Doc, though. :)
