I've been working as normal today but even here (online at least) some companies are pushing 'Black Friday' sale items.

The funny thing is that I don't think anyone over here knows what the term means or where it comes from. (Let's face it, I only know because people here explained it last year).

We tend to have black Friday sales up here because retailers know a lot of Canadians will head down across the border to shop. They may as well try and capture some of that.
