Now that takes me back a few years! This thread had already put it back in mind.

Was that really his voice? If so, his accent isn't half as thick as rumour would have us believe.

I saw Dave at a con in Ohio a LONG time ago.  I think it was actually between "Star Wars" and "Empire."  Or just slightly post "Empire."  Real nice guy - and big.  His accent wasn't that bad at all I thought.  I remember seeing him down at the hotel pool laying out reading a book.
