Ooo, this is kinda tough. Now I'm questioning whether my favorite characters are actually the ones I most identify with...

I think mine all have a certain level of sarcasm and [maybe] irreverence[?]. In any case, I think they all get away with a lot. ;)

TOS: Spock. I strongly identified with the idea of having a foot in two different worlds, or being the odd man out. Being a military brat, I grew up overseas. Most of my friends outside of school were German or Turkish kids, many of whom hadn't interacted with many Americans (let alone Black Americans. ;) )

TNG: Worf. ^See above. Also, what could be considered a character flaw: I have very little patience when it comes to people who strike me as being disingenuous, close-minded, or lazy. I don't resort to breaking things, but I'm not shy about letting my irritation show.

DS9: Sisko. The first Trek hero of African descent! Growing up idolizing characters who looked nothing like me, having Sisko on DS9 really hit the spot.

VOY: Be'lanna Torres. A half-Human/half-Klingon Maquis agent trying to fit in on a Starfleet Ship? See "Spock" and "Worf", above. ^

ENT: Archer. Driven to lead his crew and get the job done, no matter the personal cost. I'm something of a workaholic; often putting work ahead of my personal life.

I'm trying to change that, but it's HARD.
