A BIG (and long) show this week.  Coverage of Comic Con by Kenny & Mina.  Also, a look at "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom."  Lots of listener comments - lots of fun!  Thanks to everyone that sent in audio.  Enjoy the cast!

I hope Kenny doesn't disown me after listening to this one! I know he likes "Temple of Doom" and he knows I don't. :) Spoiler!

It ain't no "Raiders" :)

Go back and listen to the podcast which featured "Raiders", podcast #257, if you want to hear me give praise the "perfect action movie" that doesn't feature child slavery and torture.  :eekout

Was Cathy Lee-Gifford a producer of this movie then?  :)  (I know that was bad of me)

Good, I'm glad.  Had a lot of great audio from a lot of folks this week which was great to hear.

The Comicon reports are great!

Yep!  Kenny and Mina really did a great job.  Very fun to hear about their different experiences at the con.

P.S.  Apologies to Meds.  I somehow left his Temple of Doom comment out.  Sorry mate.

Loved the podcast Rico...and I have a possible correction to make...err...well, maybe an update. In my comment I mentioned the mine car from Temple of Doom being right at the exit of the ride, but it's actually a bit further away.  As you exit the ride, and as you near the exit of the attraction, you'll see the mine car on your left, very close to another Indy prop - the Mercedes Transport truck from Raiders is here as well!
Thanks for the show Rico, I know it's probably not one of the fan favs, but I really liked Temple of Doom.  :)

Rico

Glad you enjoyed the cast.  It's always great fun to talk about Indy.

A friend of the podcast sent me an email and pointed out a couple of audio problems with the Temple of Doom show.  A couple of the clips I played got cut off a little it seems.  One problem was when I played the main trailer for Temple of Doom, and the other issue was when I played the voice clip Rob sent in that featured the Star Wars cantina scene with Han and Obi-Wan (with different voices).  Anyway, it's fixed now and the file name is the same.  So if you want the "fixed" show, just use the link at the start of this post to do a direct download.  Sorry about that.

Awesome podcast as usual, and once again i now really want to put temple into the DVD player.

Covered most of a work trip with this one. It was good fun to listen to on the increasingly narrow country lanes once I got lost...

My least favourite of the films too, to the point where I'm reluctant to watch it again. If it comes on at Christmas, though, I'm sure I'll still enjoy it really :)

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.
