Please pray for the speedy recovery of my nephew - he is a wonderful kid who has been critically injured over the weekend:

I wasn't able to read the article, but hope he'll be ok.

I'm so sorry! Thoughts and prayers are with him this morning. How did this happen? I think I know that area and isn't it pretty remote for being in Philly?

Rico

WOW!  Very sorry to hear this.  I will keep him in my thoughts.

Meds

Our thoughts and prayers are with him and family. Keep us informed.

Thanks everyone.  This was right next to the Art Museum in the center of the city.  He is less than 2 months away from graduation and getting his JD.

Right, that's a big park, right? Near the river. Does he live near there?

Jobydrone

It's not a park it's a high traffic area where there's tons of pedestrians heading to and from various Philly attractions (Franklin Institute, Art Museum, etc.) and idiot/maniac drivers swerving in and out of traffic lanes trying to get to the Schukyll Expressway as fast as they can.  I'm so sorry this happened to your nephew, praying he pulls through.

Sorry to hear about this. I hope your nephew makes a speedy recovery.

Rico

I wonder if the driver was drunk or he was hard to see?  It says it happened at around 2:30am.

Indeed, nothing good happens at 2:30am and is to be avoided.

ElfManDan

That's horrible. For sure I'll be praying for his recovery.
