New podcast is up covering the Enterprise episode, "The Aenar."  I talk about the job news a bit, some Trek and other geeky talk too.  Enjoy!

I've forgotten so much of Enterprise. I guess it's because I've only seen it through once on original airings.

I loved the stories in the area around this one but they did have to work hard to make sure no one ever saw a Romulan!

I think the whole telepresence thing is distinctly possible and for the time of Enterprise would almost be a surprise if someone didn't try it. Having said that, it's a bit of a stretch to assume that Trip could just 'knock one up' from available spare parts. You've got to respect these Starfleet engineers!

Good podcast (again) and some interesting new and events too. The new job sounds a lot more...organised than the previous one, even if it is such a long way away although it strikes me as slightly ironic that now you've spent years making 'removing paint products', you get to put all that paint back onto things again :)

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Have it ready for the commute home from lovely downtown Newark, NJ.....

Really enjoyed the Podcast Rico, Enterprise is one of my favorites, so always enjoy when you cover. Great that the Collectible reviews made another appearance :) . Your comments on Avatar mirror my thoughts on it as well.

Thanks Jeff.  Yeah, on the "Avatar" subject I did enjoy the movie quite a bit, I'm just still a bit shocked it's doing the huge business it has been doing.  I think it hit at a good time for people to have a cool escape type of film to see.

Agreed. I liked it as well, but I don't think it will ever be on my top movie list, but it certainly was an impressive movie. I think like you said, limited amount of blockbusters over the holiday, and all the excitement over Avatar has it going strong at the box office. Maybe I am biased  ;D  :vulcan, but I think that the Star Trek movie from this year will have a longer legacy then Avatar over time even though Star Trek's box office was less.

Thanks again for the great Enterprise podcast this week. Being a fan of the series, I always like hearing you let everyone know how great it was.

Nope. AVATAR has had a very real, broad based appeal which Trek, as good as it was, will never be able to achieve. AVATAR is drawing in a MASSIVE demographic, way beyond Trek. Much like TITANIC, which I though was just ok, it will have a huge legacy. It's an interesting topic, so rather than hijack this thread, I think I will start a new one to discuss. :)
