Not Scifi, but I rented this for the kids this weekend - and they loved it!  This is the proper 1939 version - not a remake.

C. Aubrey Smith is outstanding, as well as a young Sir Ralph Richardson.  When the crowd sang Auld Lang Syne as the regiment sailed off for the Sudan, I had to wipe away a tear....

Anyone else seen this movie?
