Just finished listening and I loved it! I have one observation. The use of frag and it's derivatives took me out of it a tiny bit. I think it would have worked better for me if established Wars profanities were used like kriffing, blast, or stang. Beyond that minor issue, I really enjoyed the story, actors, and production level.

I'd recommend it and also eagerly awaiting the next installment.

"Frag" is profanity used in the EU. Karen Travis used it in the Republic Commando novels, at least that's where I remember reading it.  Rest assured many of the other "EU bad words" are used in this drama as well. :D

Every time I hear the word frag, I can't help but think of Lobo.

Ok, if you haven't listened to this yet you are really missing out!  It is incredible!  Both Jen and Meds did a great job in episode 2.  Evil I tell you .. EVIL!  The production on this is so well done.

I haven't had a chance to listen to either episode yet, but I caught the intro to episode 1. Incredible production job; sounds like another chapter to the films!  This series sounds like it's going to be something special.

About half way through the first episode and I am really enjoying it! The production quality is outstanding and voice acting very solid. The lead Emma is very original, although I could do without her bead fake accent. I like the Zander character but he's too derivative. I mean a Corillian card player and smuggler running from a crime syndicate? Haven't we done this before? I wish they had done something more unique than a Han Solo rehash. The Vader and Emperor stuff was great. So far, it's great!

Star Wars In The Shadows swept the 2010 Fan Audio Awards' "Audio Drama" categories! Each year the Star Wars Fanworks community ( http://starwarsfanworks.com ) nominates the best of it's networks' podcasts and audio dramas and In The Shadow was the mega winner. Congrats Dany!!!! Meds and I are very proud to have been apart of the cast (which was one one of the awards Dany won: "Best Audio Drama Cast")

I listened to the whole thing and was in awe.  An excellent production, makes me wonder if I should start looking at audiobooks now...
