Well, we did it. A one day, south rim to north rim hike through one of the seven wonders of the world. 24 miles, 5000 feet down and then 6000 feet of climbing to reach the other side, the lodge, and more than a few beers.  :cheers

Here are some shots of the North Rim looking back towards the south. Some weather moved and we even got a rainbow. This was late in the afternoon when we arrived. Most of the on hike pictures Andrew has and I still need to get them.

Finally, the next morning at sunrise. In the first pic, the deep gorge you see at the bottom is the inner canyon you climb up through before getting to the main wall. This is looking directly back towards the South Rim visitor center where we started.

Beautiful shots Bryan.  One day I want to see you just take a vacation to like Disney or some place less, "majestic."  I was at the Canyon once, a long time ago.  Love to go back sometime.

Harry and I have been wanting to do the Grand Canyon for years now.. seeing those pics has made me start to plan a Grand Canyon Vacation next year... Thanks for sharing Bryan.
