Yeah there has been lots of talk about which actors were going to join.. Sandra Bullock was attached for a while and our very own Governor Arnold was attached also.

I think many are doing fairly quick cameos, from what I have read.

Wow...it's like anyone who has been in an action movie in the last 25 years is in this movie.....LOOKS COOL!
I think it was Socrates who spoke the immortal words:  I drank WHAT?

Holy Toledo!  Lots of big names in this one.  Almost like a modern 'Mad, Mad, Mad World' - if any of you recall that.  Anyone who was anyone in the early 60's Hollywood was in that film.

Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Bruce Willis wil all three be in a scene together in this film. Can't wait for this movie!

Reviving this old thread since I finally saw this movie.  While it was fun to see all these action stars in one film, the movie was fairly weak and not very memorable or unique.  Pretty simple plot, but it did have some nice action.  The actors are showing their age but still manage to perform some cool stunts.  If you are nostalgic to see all these action guys, maybe wait for the DVD.

Jobydrone

A missed opportunity.  If this movie didn't take itself quite as seriously it could have been much more fun.  I think the way they handled Jet Li's charachter was spot-on perfect, the rest of the film should have been like that.

Yeah, Jet Li was fun and even Mickey Rourke had some good stuff too.  Both of them seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I liked the Expendables, but my Wife not as much. I thought the Action was pretty good, the story was not that deep, but sort of reminded me how they made Action movies about 15 years ago, so felt a bit nostalgic. It had a restricted rating here, which I felt was fine, as it did not feel watered down.
