Anyone trek to Riverside, Iowa?
« on: August 10, 2010, 02:41:02 PM »
Hey everyone,

I was wondering if any of you have ever made the trip to Riverside Iowa for Trek Fest or just to see it. What's it like? Worth going? What about the city of Vulcan in . . . Canada?

I'm in need of a vacation (hence joining the forum and not being ON the forum) and thought I'd ask for any geek-cation ideas. Any thoughts? Or maybe there's another mecca out there.

I'm in MN, so Iowa would be possible, but I'm curious about other places too.

Let me know, thanks guys!

I've never been but it looks like a fun place and a nice area to visit.

Yeah, I'm just wondering if they have Trek Stuff all year long. Probably. I'll check out the website.

I've only seen Iowa at a passing glance, so it may be worth a small road trip. Maybe in the fall once it's cooler.
