Character History:

Stass' Mother worked in Starship Design at the Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards in orbit of Mars.  Her family was one of many billeted in the Starbases supporting the Shipyard; much of Stass' formative years were spent in the space-born, city-sized environments.  It wasn't until the age of 10 that she had her first opportunity to set foot on an actual planet.

Stass grew up in a family surrounded by brothers, and spent her formative years in competition with them. Her family has established a legacy in the sport Parrises Squares; her grandfather, father, and two eldest brothers were all celebrated champions of the sport.  Not to be outdone, Stass attacked the sport at an early age.  She excelled at it, and considered pursuing it professionally before deciding to make her own unique mark on the galaxy by joining starfleet.  She felt that her talents could best be applied in the security field, and has served in this capacity for the past 10 years.  Prior to her posting on the Tiberius, she spent the bulk of her career as a ground-pounder.  She often found herself on the frontlines during the Dominion War, and was awarded the Christopher Pike Medal of Valor for her actions during the Siege of AR 558 in the Chin'toka system.

After a brief medical leave, Stass returned to active duty and was assigned to the Starship Tiberius, and later, the Arabella.  She has come to love life on the Arabella, and dreams of setting up an intramural Parissis Square league on the ship.

Like many in security, Stass has an almost insatiable appetite for excitement.  She believes in working hard, and playing harder.  She has earned a reputation for having a prodigious tolerance to alcohol, and is rumored to be able to outdrink anyone on the ship.
