Has anyone played the X-Box arcade game called "Star Trek: D·A·C"?  I was sifting through the market place and came across it: Star Trek®: D-A-C is a fast-paced, top-down space shooter inspired by the new motion picture. This pick-up and play game allows you and your friends to choose starships ( from a list including the all-new U.S.S. Enterprise ) and battle it out online! Enlist in Starfleet or join the Romulan Empire as you battle with up to 11 friends in game play modes including: Solo Play, Online Versus, and Online Co-op. Command the powerful Flagship, the nimble Fighter or the devastating Bomber, each with their own unique capabilities. Choose your side, fire your weapons, boldly go!

It's gotten terrible reviews, and it's multiplayer only.  It was described as a generic space shooter skinned with Star Trek licensed graphics.  I'd try the demo before purchasing.  It's a shame there hasn't been a decent Star Trek videogame in a long time.

There is no such thing as the "best" ST game anywhere.  Games made off IPs like movies tend to just suck.  (Star Wars is the only exception to this, but only by a bit)  I don't know why, but this seems to be true in general.  Pretty much every Star Trek game I've played is terrible.  Star Trek Online included.  And yeah, I've given up looking...
