Wasps - yikes!

Found this hanging in the peak on the back of our garage today. I killed them. Pictures are before I sprayed it down with Raid.

I like snakes, spiders, and just about every 'creepy-crawler' out there, but I can't stand wasps. Just seeing a picture of one gives me the creeps.

Awesome hive/nest thing. Wasps creep me out.... flying all dangly-like. I try not to bother them hoping they won't bother me.

We had a wasps nest in the roof above our front door...or under our youngest's bedroom floor (same place). Nothing I did got rid of them so we paid someone in the end.

You could lie on the floor with your ear to the carpet and here them buzzing away just underneath you - horrible!

Eesh... I used to have lost of creepies in my bedroom growing up at the farm (house was over 100 years old). Wasps, mice, spiders, moths. And never just a few... like hatched nests-/eggs-full. I could share stories (like what a dozen squished daddy-longlegs smell like, and why not to use gluetraps with mice.)

If there is one thing I hate worse than Bumblebees, its wasps. Damn I hate the look of that.

The really nasty thing about wasps is that they can sting as many times as they like. Nasty little buggers.

I still have to knock it down. But I think I've kept them away now with the bug spray.
