Looking forward to watching this one! I would have contributed but I don't have video equipment which is something I must rectify soon.

Ditto. I tried a video once with the web cam but the effect was...not good. Trying to do any compression at all on it to send it anywhere caused it to completely lose audio/video Sync.

Still watching the 'cast. Fun so far!

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Great work everyone. Very enjoyable show!

Good podcast.  The observations and comments pretty much mirror my own.

I can't believe no one has mentioned my Teddy-Spock yet?!?   :)

moyer777

I loved your Teddy Spock.  But somehow I figured you already had one, it came as no surprise.  :)

Now, the Star Wars sheets, I was expecting those.

I have been and always will be, your friend.

TO all the guys who said they didn't have recording equipment. Do any of have a normal digital camera? Many of these have video capability. My video was shot with my Sony Cybershot, uploaded to my laptop and sent to Rico (I don't think I even had to convert it). Easy really, but I don't have editing software, but for simple one shot takes, it's fine

The camera does video...but not sound. (I will probably now embarrass myself and find it does have sound too)

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Webcams are another very inexpensive way to do fairly ok video too.

Tim, your quality was fantastic i would never have thought you used that. Wow i'm blown away i honestly thought you'd used a hd camera.

Trekkygeek

This was my point Meds. I use a 7.2 mega pixel Sony Cybershot which cost about £150 a year ago. It's a great little  camera and I use it to record and upload video to Youtube so easily. Now if I could learn about editing and and adding special effects I'd be laughing, but I'm afraid my poor little Dell Laptop with 1GB Ram and 1.6 processor just doesn't cut the mustard old chap  :)

Mine wasn't exactly amazing quality, but I just sat there and blabbered on and on to my webcam and then used Windows Movie Maker to cut out the bits that made no sense. Converting it was the hard part. I had a heck of a time finding a program that would do it for free.

Meds

I have the same problem. My main computer is seriously running out of disc space and i can't before to buy a external hard drive. It's all my itunes stuff that's buggering me up. My laptop doesn't have a great memory either so when i do the waffle on casts and the Prisoner treks in sic fi i near enough have to erase all of it once it's uploaded. Bit of a pain.

Rico

Keep in mind guys, that I think as long as you have a webcam and get an account setup at like Ustream, I think you can record right to the web.  Although the quality, due to streaming, might not be great.
