Just a bit of self-promotion:  If anyone's interested, I was just published on the Geek Girls Network Blog:
http://geekgirlsnetwork.wordpress.com/2009/05/05/there-is-a-geek-inside-us-all/

Encouraging women to embrace geekiness, sending out shout out to Anomaly, and telling my own geek story.  Enjoy.

Seriously good article. This part gave me chills for some reason:

QuoteIt's not just space battles and weird makeup - it's John and Aeryn finally figuring it out, or knowing that Simon would do anything for River.  Better than any soap opera, in my opinion.

I'm interested! :)

Love your article, I can relate, and this seems to be the right blog for me! :)

Though I have to say, I came to a somewhat different conclusion when I was a young geek: There is something wrong about being a woman.

Today I'm an older geek and a feminist and say there is something wrong with society. ;)
