Oh... I... thought it would be a funny guess. Vartok mentioned it recently on the podcast, and I remembered how much i liked it.
Saw some of the sets on the Bavaria Film Studio tour, but by then I was more interested in the Neverending Story.

The Maiter'D peers at it and offers an answer in a cheesy french accent, "It is a caper."

The Health Inspector smiles and shakes his head, "No my friend what we have here is a rat turd."

The Maiter'D looks indignant, "No, it is caper."

The Health Inspector looks askance at him, "Are you sure?"

The Maiter'D insists, "IT IS A CAPER!" (Sounding less french each time)

The Health Inspector puts the offensive object in the Maiter'D's face,"Fine, then eat it."

The Maiter'D tries not to gag, "NO!"

The Health Inspector looking triumphant declares with a smile, "Then I am closing you down."
