I've gotten to the recent Ready Rooms now and have been listening this while doing various household bits and pieces.

I started out by just listening but found it a little hard to pick up. What I realised was that I was trying to listen to it analytically (for pointers etc as a new RPG writer). Once I started doing something else to keep me physically occupied I found I easily settled into the story and rather than trying to consciously monitor what is being said, I was imply absorbed into the tale being told.

It's quite a compelling story actually and easily works as an RPG chapter in its own right - albeit one that spans a number of years.

All credit to Jen, both for writing and presentation. I can only hope to have a character with similar depth one day.
