Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Dave and I are going out to eat this evening and then we'll probably see a movie.  :)

You all now by now that I am an Anomaly so I prefer tech to jewelry. I didn't get a box of chocolate, a dozen roses or a car like my co-worker, Holly. In fact, I asked my husband not to get me anything. I was content just go out with him and enjoy a night on the town. In the past he has hired a Barbershop quartet, ordered roses to be delivered at my office and replaced the diamond in my wedding ring with a higher quality one. I told him he could take a break this year and he agreed to my request. But this morning I woke up to find that my husband had printed a 46" flat screen TV on several pieces of paper, which he then tiled together and taped to our current television. On the "fake TV's" screen Dave photoshoped a race car. This was apparently a shared Valentine's Day gift, LOL.  He had tried to start my XBox 360 so that he could have the music from Forza II playing in the background, but instead of theme music he got the three rings of death!!!!  That dreaded harbinger that I've heard so much about has visited its doom upon my console. So, my Valentine's Day was bitter-sweet.  :lol2

No biggie. It's under warranty and I'm in the process of shipping it now to have it repaired. Can't wait to get beat by Dave in another race game on our new TV that we're going to pick up later. I'm slowly turning him into a geek... :wub

Hope you enjoy the new TV and hope it doesn't take too long for your XBox 360 to be back in working order. May the rest of your Valentine's Day be more sweet then bitter.

That was very sweet of him.  And we have sent an XBOX 360 in twice now (obviously 2 different ones) and gotten replacements back in about 3-4 weeks.  Kind of a pain but they will take care of you I'm sure.

That is simply awesome Jen!  CONGRATS!  You guys will dig your TV!  Too bad about your video game console.  bummer.  But, hey, how cool of Dave!

Happy Valentine's day!

Thats amazing Jen, i hope you wink at him a lot over your valentines meal. I'm taking the good lady out for a slap up curry and asome wine (though thats for me as Natalie cnt drink for another 6 months). Boo to the ring of death.

Have a lovely evening Jen. Shame about the R.R.O.D. they are such a pain. I have to deal with them every week at work...    >:(

Sounds like a cool Valentines gift. Sorry to hear about RROD, a friend of mine's 360 died a few weeks ago after the latest patch. Hopefully you are not to long without your 360.
