"The Spirit" movie

I don't think we've talked about this movie much. Based on a Will Eisner comic series. Looks cool & due out this coming Christmas!

Well, just got back from seeing this and I thought it was pretty cool and enjoyed it. I can see how it might not appeal to everyone. It's very stylish and has a strong noir quality and is a bit over the top at times. But it all seemed to work for the subject matter - at least for me. I really liked the lead actor who played the Spirit. This movie reminded me a lot of both "Dick Tracy" with Warren Beatty and of course "Sin City." Kind of smash those two films together and you would get "The Spirit." The visuals are quite amazing and I'm glad I saw it in the theater. Definitely felt like I got my $5 worth.

Hmm think i may go and check this out. I've enjoyed the trailers and i like any kind of noir look to a film. Plus big sam jackson is in it and that man can do no wrong (dont mention snakes on a plane ;) )

Like I said, it is over the top in places but I was ok with that. Oh and there were about 5 different "babes" in this movie. Which only helps it's case! ;)
