I've felt the same way Jen, many times.  Most Star Wars fans I think have.  But I agree too, it might be dangerous.  Especially on some of my ugly drives home.  "Cut me off will you ---!"  zap, crackle,....

OH YES... I totally agree with the driving thing. I'd probably short out my SUV and have to have the key reprogrammed after "my lightening wrath" came down upon the dude who cut me off... Oh, and I would feel bad for frying them after I paid the $200 to reprogram my key. You should play this game Rico... Force Lightening blows things up! Its very cathartic.

I plan on playing it once we get our XBOX repaired/replaced from Microsoft.  It went belly up last weekend - bad timing!

I've been playing the PSP version.  It's okay, nothing utterly spectacular or anything.  There are fun mechanics to the story mode, especially all the different Force powers and the fact that you get many to start with and unlock more as the game progresses. The fact is, though that many of the unlocked force powers seem very similar to the ones you already have at the begining.  An example would be Force lightining, where a the begining of the game effects one target and in later versions affects two or three targets.  I'm not finished it yet, but my impression is that certain elements of the story were cut or eliminated from the PSP version because it doesn't make a whole heck of alot of sense.

The best thing about the PSP version is the inclusion of "Historical Missions."  These are exclusive to the PSP version of the game.  So far I have played only one, but what a doozy it was.  It was a five minute boss battle where you play Darth Vader during the lighsabre battle with Luke Skywalker in Empire Strikes Back, in the Carbonite freezing chamber.  Theres two more of these historical missions I have to try and I think you can unlock others as well.

Overall I'd say if you can rent the PSP verion from Gamefly or something you're better off doing it that way, because it's a short game with not alot of replay value.  It's fun while it lasts though, and I am enjoying my experiences with it.

Picked it up Yesterday, I must say it rocks, I have been playing it for 11 hrs now and am on cloud city, The story is awesome and althought the graffects are good they are a little outdated.

My only real complaint is their is a little lag time before and after a cutscence plays. other then that this is definetly one of the better games for the psp.

Data

im going to get into the game when i get home ........ thats if i can get my house mate off of it
haha

I didn't experience the lag on my XBox.  Maybe it's not a widespread issue?

I'm having trouble getting all the darn holos. I just get so wrapped up in trying to find and beat the boss that I forget to look for all of these. My major issue so far has been sticking my jumps, but I've been playing it for a while and seem to have remedied that to some extent. I was very sad when I had to fight my favorite Jedi, Shaak Ti...  :(

I LOVE Force Repose! This game makes me want to play Knights Of The Old Republic again, but I think I would miss some of the AWESOME force powers that The Force Unleashed offers. Now, if they would JUST COMBINE THE TWO GAMES and continue the KOTOR SERIES! I'm almost through the TFU and I'm finding the game play great, but the story is lacking. I know it's not an RPG, but the first Halo wasn't either and the story in that game was great. I wish the story had a bit more substance.

My only other complaint is Juno Eclipse. What kind of name is that!? She sounds like an exotic dancer and she dresses like one too! What's with the chamise under her jacket? That would make sense, I guess, after  what 'happens to them'  (I'm not mentioning it because it would spoil the 'story')... But that outfit doesn't fit the "dress code" of Imperial officers. Of course, we don't see ANY women officers in the movies, but I doubt they would be that stripperish. Yes, yes, I know that men/boys are the target audience for this game, but they could still achieve "attractive" without ruining the look of an Imp uniform.

Yes, but they're not too hard to defeat. :)

Oh cool, cause I've got this habit of getting totally frustrated when i get stuck and the i end up having a rant throwing my controller th the bean bag and starting a new game. Still got quite a few games ;)

Blackride

I was going to buy the game and I shy'ed away from it due to the reviews. I may just pick up Warhammer now.....
Ripley: Ash. Any suggestions from you or Mother?
Ash: No, we're still collating.
Ripley: [Laughing in disbelief] You're what? You're still collating? I find that hard to believe.

I get annoyed, throw my controller on the bed then either play another game, go on my computer or watch TV
