Yeah he was on Dennis Miller's show not too long ago and had mentioned that was teaching.  Miller is a huge fan of his.

Garak was a great character.  His performance in Dirty Harry is still, IMO, one of the most perfectly played parts in film history.

He's my more favorite characters from DS9.  Glad to see he's still moving around.

I only know the actor from his role on DS9-

Funny thing is, I'm so used to seeing this face in Cardassian make-up, he looks weird to me out of costume.

I still see him singing row, row, row your boat to the kids in the school bus in  Dirty Harry. Great scene.
