Independently unemployed.  Company eliminated my position Monday.  If I can't find anything in 2 months I will have to consider giving up the cats so I can work out-of-state.  Hope it doesn't come to that.

Spent today creating illustrations and Flash movies for a student pilot training lesson.

I use a technical writer's step-by-step procedures list to demonstrate navigation and communication controls on a new Multi Function Display that is used in the next generation of jet airplane my worksite supports.

And I watched my boss muttering about the delivery schedule slipping back another month - sort of like the white Rabbit with his pocketwatch in the Alice in Wonderland story.  :)
