Doing some tweaks and updates to the forums.  It may look a bit weird for awhile today.  Hang in there.

Hey Rico,

While you're working on tweaks today maybe you could fix the PayPal box that displays on the forums left column. I had to go to the main Treks In Sci-Fi page to send you money. Just a suggestion.

Was there a problem with the box here?  It worked fine when I just clicked it.  What type of error were you getting?

Ktrek

It works now Rico but even when I posted my previous message it dod not show any click options. No plus or minus signs to open up the window. I also do not see the plus or minus signs to open Woopra. Have no idea what it is but everything else lets me open the pull down menu.

Is anyone else getting an error when trying to use the PM function on the forum?

Rico

Kevin - what browser and version do you use?  That can sometimes impact the way the forum looks and functions.

Kenny - PM's have been fine for me.  One suggestion might be to clean out old PM's you have.  The database has to track all those and if you have a lot it could cause an error once in awhile.

Ktrek

Rico - I use the latest version of Exlporer. That is so weird that that plus/minus option was not displaying on the PayPal until I actually said something about it. Crazy man! Just crazy!

Well I have 193 PM's... far from the maximum that I use to have before you asked us to clean out the PM's. I would go and delete the PM"s but I can't get to that page. Every time I click on  "My Messages" I get an error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@treksinscifi.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I have tried logging out and logging back in.. no change. I have tried throwing away my cache.. no change. I don't know what else to do.. anyone have a suggestion.

Rico

I'd be curious if you saw the same in Firefox.  I only use Firefox and tend to only check the site using that browser.

Ktrek

Even in Firefox it shows no pulldown option for Woopra.

It won't for Woopra.  That is a monitoring program that allows me to check who is logged in, from where, etc.  Kind of a testing admin tool.
