I'm reading the collection of Star Trek Mirror Universe books from a few years back. Very well written.  I love unseen history of the Star Trek universe.

Read some more graphic novels from the library and picked up a couple more of the New 52 graphic novels as well. Picked up Wonder Woman & Hawk and Dove. Here my list of some I recently finished.
Green Lantern - War of the Green Lanterns - 9. Check this one out if you get the chance!
New Avengers - Civil War - 9.
Peter Parker Spiderman - Civil War - 9.
Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman - Mystery Date - 7. This took place during Civil War but the storyline didn't cover it.
Hulk - Sesaon One - 6. Not to good. My least favorite of the Season One books. The Story and Art style didn't measure up to the other books. I won't be reading the Doctor Strange Season One. Never cared for that character.

Just picked up the new Halo book and the new Rick Riordan book

I'm "reading" In The Shadow Of The Matterhorn: Intimate Stories of Life, Love and Laughter at Disneyland by David W. Smith. Fun book!

Still been reading graphic novels but I did pick up "Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide" updated in 2012. Very interesting so far. It covers Clone Wars and the Knights of the Old Republic video game and even some Lego stuff.
Here is the list of Graphic novels I have read recently.
Batman - Batman and Son - 6. Damien shows up.
Fantastic Four/Spiderman - Classic - 7. Old stories put into one book.
Spiderman - Back in Black - 7. Peter Parker having a rough time since Civil War.
The Defenders - Vol. 1 - 4. This was so bad they didn't give it a name.
Batman - Earth One - 5. I liked the Superman: Earth One a lot better!
Hawk and Dove - Vol. 1 First Strikes - 5. A New 52 book that wasn't very good but I didn't know much about these characters.
Wonder Woman - Vol. 1 Blood - 4. I got a blood-ly nose when I fell asleep and it hit me in the face! Don't waste your time on this New 52 book.
Aquaman - Vol. 1 The Trench - 8. The New 52 book that was worth reading. I enjoyed this one.

Currently reading the latest Star Trek TNG book called "Persistence Of Memory" by David Mack. Refreshingly good after several of the last years Star Trek books being at or below average. This is the first of a trilogy and judging by it the series promises to be a very good indeed.

Also re-reading the TNG coffee table book called "The Continuing Mission". It was released 15 years ago for TNG's tenth anniversary. I can hardly believe it was that long! Anyway, this is a very fine reference book as for the history and behind the scenes look at the production of TNG. Should be in everyone's library if you are a TNG fan.

I have "The Continuing Mission" book. I have looked through it but never read it yet.

I just reread The Long Tomorrow by Leigh Brackett.  It has probably been more than 40 years since I first read it.

Also Rising Thunder by David Weber.  Those damn arrogant Solarians, I mean earthlings.  LOL

Here is a new book Babylon 5 fans may enjoy by Claudia Christian called "Babylon Confidential". She also wrote a book back in 2007 called "My Life with Geeks and Freaks".

Didn't even know this was out.  I enjoyed vol. 1 and I need to get this one too!

Just came out this week, I forgot that I pre-ordered it. It's nice to get a gift from Past Chris. Usually Past Chris screws over Future Chris but not this time!

It's just as good as the first volume, maybe even a touch better. I like this reinvention of Supes more than the New 52 to be honest.

I've actually been reading Dean Koontz's first in the series of Frankenstein books. It reads on about the level of a pulp fiction story from the 1940s (although it's set in the modern day).

***minor spoilers***

Victor Frankenstein is still alive, under the alias of Victor Helios, because he invented a way to extend his life and the life of his creations. and has been building an army of superhumans, The original monster is still alive and survived by appearing as a freak show attraction in carnivals and then spent many years in the Himalayan mountains studying meditation to learn to control his evil impulses.

The main protagonists in the story are two New Orleans police officers who are trying to solve the murders of various victims found without certain body parts.

Fun fast read but I doubt I will read the others in the series when I am finished.

I'm reading Sky Dragons by Todd McCaffrey. I don't find  his stuff very well written, unlike his mother - Anne McCaffrey (RIP).  Alot of characters and to add to that, the same characters from different timeframes.  It gets confusing fast.  But I've read all of the Pern novels and am determined to get through this one!

Jobydrone

I've always wanted to read those books Ktrek, I might pick that up soon. Never really enjoyed the author though.

Love Pern, I re-read the first trilogy at least once every five or six years.  The other books are a little uneven but are mostly great.  I remember really liking the Masterharper of Pern and that being about the last novel I can say I truly loved in that series.
