Good News for all you fans of Reaper on CW...

CW Bringing Back Reaper

The CW network has given a 13-episode midseason renewal to its comedic hourlong series Reaper, Variety reported. The story centers on a slacker guy (Bret Harrison) who's forced to work for the devil (Ray Wise), thanks to a Faustian bargain made years ago by his parents. The freshman series from ABC Studios has a cadre of loyal fans but has otherwise struggled in the ratings.

The renewal decision went down to the wire, coming hours before the CW's 2008-09 upfront presentation in New York on May 13, the trade paper reported.

Does anyone here watch Reaper on CW? What do you guys think of the finale.

Personally, I loved, though I wish they did actually kill someone, not just leave him alive in that cliffhanger.

This show, though many disagree, is a great fun to watch and the final 7 or 8 episodes have been really great with the Demon Rebellion episode, and I can't wait for Season 2. I really hope it gets better ratings next year, because it really deserves it.

CW Sets Start Date for "Reaper"
December 3, 2008 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: TV

Maybe the devil made them do it.

The CW has announced that "Reaper" will return for its second season on March 17.  For those of you looking at a calendar, the night in question is a Tuesday and not the original Thursday timeslot originally announced for the series.

Earlier this year, "Reaper" was renewed and reported to be going in for "Smallville" while the story of a young Clark Kent went on hiatus.  However, with the renewed success of "Smallville" and "Supernatural" this season, the CW has decided to air "Reaper" on Tuesday evenings at 9 p.m. EST.

The show will be led in by the revamped "90210″ and will face stiff competition from Fox's "American Idol" and "Fringe"  and CBS's "The Mentalist."

The second season of "Reaper" will run for 13 episodes.
